Description
VITICULTURE
Róbert Gilvesy moved back from Canada to his homeland in Hungary in order to establish his wine estate where he grows grapes on volcanic basalt/tufa and calcareous dolomite rich soil.
WINEMAKING
Following three weeks of punching down, only the free run juice went into 500-litre oak barrels, where it was aged for 12 months. Tiny production and only the second vintage ever made.
OAK TREATMENT
TASTING NOTE
Dark ripe cherries and blackberry, spicy and herbal with medium tannins and lifted acidity.
FOOD MATCHING
Perfect with grilled, roast meats and game.
