When harvesting the grapes for rosé the timing had to be carefully judged to allow the grapes to ripen fully, while still maintaining their fresh, zippy profile necessary for a rosé wine.
Early-morning harvesting (or “the very end of the night” as winemaker Guillaume puts it), gentle handling in the winery, cool temperature controlled vinification in stainless steel gave us a delicate colour and fresh, soft berry flavours, while blocking maloctic fermentation maintains pleasant levels of acidity.
Pretty pink and medium bodied with a surprising texture. A balance of tangy strawberry, juicy raspberry and spice with a dry finish.
Medium bodied rosé with good mouthfeel, perfect for a BBQ or pizza, or simply enjoying al-fresco on a sunny day.
Blend: 70% Grenache, 30% Cinsault
