Still a strange one in these times to say the least.
A quick update to say that we will be open this weekend (see below) but serving from our bar table only. There will continue to be no access to the shop.
We will be asking again that customers observe the correct social distance with each other and with our team and that purchases are completed in a timely manner in line with current Government guidelines.

For additional health and safety reasons ALL TRANSACTIONS are card only and please bring your own bag.

We hope you, your family and friends are all as well as can be during these continuing unprecedented times.
Thank you once again for everyone’s support thus far. We continue to be amazed that we are still going.
So before the lockdown, we at Urban Cellar were planning on starting our calendar with a focus on Portugese wines. Clearly we couldn’t do that but here, Ken explains some of the great regional wines we have begun to stock from Portugal.
We continue to offer our popular local delivery service (enquires to info@urbancellar.co.uk) and this Friday (3-7pm) Saturday and Sunday (both 11-4pm) we will again be open and serve on our bar table at the doorway and ask that our customers please follow and respect the current Government guidelines.

We are currently going through strange and unprecedented times and we are all undeniably concerned regarding COVID-19 and are continuing to focus on the health and wellbeing of our team, customers and local community.

For now, Urban Cellar is open for business as usual and we have already increased our stringent cleaning ritual and implemented further plans on hand washing, hygiene and social distancing.

Can we ask wherever possible that our customers pay via card and not cash and please don’t be offended if we don’t shake your hands for now.

We at Urban Cellar have really appreciated the support of our local community and we hope you are all getting the help and support you need at your end and you continue to shop local and support our local businesses.

To this end, we are offering free local delivery within 1.5 miles of SE19 for 6 bottles or more of wine or a spend over £75. A delivery charge of £7.50 will apply otherwise.

Deliveries will need to be pre-paid via BACS and will be made ideally within 48 hours.

So if you know your favourites and need anything then please:
